Remote job: Encora is hiring Sr. Firmware/Systems Engineer - Mexico

Requirements

• ●  Experience with modern C/C++ standards, libraries, Java, Kotlin and best practices

• ●  Design and implement components at system, drivers and AOSP frameworks

• ●  Debug system-level, multi-component issues from kernel to application, Trust Zone

  to User space

• ●  Profile performance problems and drive optimizations that span the entire software

  stack

• ●  Bring up new devices and perform debugging and performance tuning

• ●  AOSP or Embedded Linux development

• ●  Experience with Android SDK, NDK, JNI and IPC mechanisms

• ●  Experience with device bring up, drivers, DTBO, Bluetooth, WiFi, and Linux kernel

  customization

• ●  Experience with Android or Linux performance tools and security models

  Preferred Qualifications

• ●  Experience in TV entertainment domain

• ●  Experience working within a distributed team

• ●  Android TV stack including:

  • ○  TVHAL

  • ○  TV Inputs Framework (TIF)

  • ○  TVApp

  • ○  Tuner

  • ○  ATSC EPG

  • ○  Picture and Audio Settings.

• ●  Video & Audio Playback

• ●  Hardware: Bluetooth and Camera Support

  Soft Skills

• ●  Self-organized and self-motivated to work independently, addressing dependencies on the way

• ●  Good communication skills, Level of English at Upper-Intermediate level
